The famous writter of Harry Potter Joanne "jo" Murray also known as J.K. Rowling (her pen name since 2nd book was released) her used pen name in first book was simply "Joanne Murray. She was also known as the "Rag to Riches" she definitly become multi-millionaire in just 5 years. I mean $798 million.

The Book :

The Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince book was released on July 16, 2005. It is the 6th out of 7 books that she have written (Rowling). The Set was during Harry Potter's sixth year at Hogwart's the novel explores Lord Voldemort's past, and Harry's preparations for the final battle amidst emerging romantic relationships and the emotional confusions and conflict resolutions characteristic of mid-adolescence.

The book sold three million copies in the first 16 hours after its release, a record at the time which was eventually broken by its sequel, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows

Conflict:

During the pre-released date fourteen (14) copies of the book was accidentaly sold before the authorized release date by Raincoast Bookstore they obtained an injuuction from Supreme Court of British Columbia. at the other side Purchasers were offered a Harry Potter T-shirt and an autographed copy of the book if they returned their copies before 16 July.

The Movie :

Half-Blood Prince is the sixth film in the Harry Potter series. It is directed by David Yates, the director of the fifth film, Harry Potter and the order of the Phoenix. David Heyman and David Barron produced the film, and the screenplay was written by Steve Kloves, the screenwriter of the first four films Filming began on 24 September 2007, and the film was released in cinemas worldwide on 15 July 2009, one day short of the fourth anniversary of the corresponding novel's release. Unlike the previous film, the sixth film was not simultaneously released in regular cinemas and IMAX 3-D in all countries, due to a Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen several week commitment. The film was released instead in IMAX 3D on 29 July, two weeks after its original release, in these countries.

The film opened to critical acclaim and commercial success, and broke the records for biggest midnight opening gross of all time as well as biggest single-day worldwide gross of all time. In five days the film made $391 million, breaking the record for biggest five-day worldwide gross in history.

Conflict:

Robert Knox, 18, who acted alongside Daniel Radcliffe in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, became the 28th teenager killed in Britain last 2008, and the 10th in London to die from stab wounds.

Relatives said his role as Marcus Belby in the film, due for release in November, was set to launch his career as an actor.

The Cast :

    * Daniel Radcliffe as Harry Potter, now entering his sixth year at Hogwarts, with the wizarding world at war.

    * Rupert Grint as Ron Weasley, one of Harry's two best friends. Although he begins flirting with Hermione, he develops a shallow relationship with Lavender Brown, whom he abandons later in the film.

    * Emma Watson as Hermione Granger, one of Harry's two best friends, who has romantic feelings for Ron and becomes jealous of his girlfriend. Watson considered not returning for the sixth film, but eventually decided that, "the pluses outweighed the minuses," and could not bear to see anyone else play Hermione.

    * Jim Broadbent as Horace Slughorn, the newly appointed Hogwarts Potions master. Broadbent described his costumes as "tweedy", and his character as "comic", while Radcliffe noted that "[Slughorn's] tragedy will outweigh the comedy".

    * Helena Bonham Carter as Bellatrix Lestrange, one of Voldemort's principal Death Eaters, older sister of Narcissa Malfoy and aunt of Draco. The character's role in the film is larger than in the book.

    * Robbie Coltrane as Rubeus Hagrid, the Hogwarts gamekeeper and Care of Magical Creatures teacher, Harry's first friend from the magical world.

    * Tom Felton as Draco Malfoy, a rival of Harry's, whom Harry suspects of carrying out a task for Voldemort throughout the year. At first, it is implied that Draco is pleased to be Voldemort's chosen one, but as it becomes harder for him, he begins to crumble. His final task is to kill Dumbledore, but Draco cannot bring himself to do it. Son of Lucius and Narcissa Malfoy and nephew to Bellatrix Lestrange.

    * Sir Michael Gambon as Albus Dumbledore. The legendary wizard and headmaster of Hogwarts. The revelation of Dumbledore's sexuality prompted Gambon to "camp up" around the set when off camera, but his on-screen performance remained unchanged from the previous films.

    * Helen McCrory as Narcissa Malfoy, Draco's mother and younger sister of Bellatrix. McCrory was originally cast as Bellatrix Lestrange in Order of the Phoenix, but had to drop out due to pregnancy. Naomi Watts was previously reported as having accepted the role, only for it to be denied by her agency.

    * Alan Rickman as Severus Snape, the former Potions master, who finally achieves his goal of becoming Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher. He turns out to be the Half-Blood Prince in the end.

    * Dame Maggie Smith as Minerva McGonagall, the Hogwarts Transfiguration teacher, deputy headmistress and head of Gryffindor. McGonagall is a member of the Order of the Phoenix.

    * David Thewlis as Remus Lupin, former Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher. Lupin is a werewolf and a member of the Order of the Phoenix.

    * Mark Williams and Julie Walters as Arthur and Molly Weasley respectively, Ron and Ginny's parents. They treat Harry like another son.

    * Bonnie Wright as Ginny Weasley, Ron's younger sister in her fifth year, with whom Harry forms a relationship. Other than Chamber of Secrets, this is the first time the character has had screen time matching the size of the role in the book.

Hello Guys, uhh.. im not sure how to start, as you guys know and as what mentioned in my "TITLE" this is my first post. well uhh.. first of all Im Shivah (not real name) im just using it as my screen name or more called as "In Game Name (IGN)" i started playing MMORPG Games since 2006 not sure about the exact date. It's Ranarok Online Philippines, oh yeah im from Philippines. btw, let's continue, after playing Ragnarok in a Year or more i Quit and Stopped playing any computer games and decided to have a "REAL LIFE" lol. so after 3 years having "REAL LIFE" i decided again to play RAGNAROK ONLINE it's just because i missed it and lots of my friends are asking me to play again (my old co-ragnarok player) like reunion but i think RO is not for me anymore. Im not happy and look bored lots of things changed. So let's move on!! I Started Playing GodsWar this June 2009 im listening to "imeem(.)com" in my playlist and suddenly the "GodsWar" ads appear. lol it's not a pop-up. lol. So since i decided to play again i give it a try. then now. im happily addicted to it now. :) nweiz, thanks to my Guildmates and Friends for helping me alot and guiding me even you always talk to me like im AFK "Shivah!
